Hermitage LLC in Goshen, KY owned by Steve Wilson and managed by Jose and Leslie Hernandez hosted a clinic with two time world champion driver Felix Brasseur this past week. Drivers from Canada, Australia and the United States attended the 5 day clinic which covered dressage, cones and obstacles.

I thought this weekend was going to be all about work, but thanks to a lot of people helping out with a huge software upgrade it was pretty much done by Friday evening. So when I got the text Saturday morning asking if I wanted to go flying, I jumped on it.

While looking for horse trailer vents I somehow got sucked into the Google vortex and ended up on a horse trailering accident story, which then led me to US Rider's Trailering Safety Tips.
The tips are pretty good and I know a lot of us tend to jump in the truck and go so I thought I would post them here with hopes that someday an equine or human life might be saved because someone took a few minutes to read this.

Dang was it hot this weekend!
Saturday AM Fred, Marion, Rob and I started off the weekend with a spectacular drive at Shakertown before the heat of the day kicked in. I also got to try out my new winch which worked perfectly.
