Our mission statement reads, "Woodsmith Farm strives to utilize quality management techniques to aid in the health, comfort and profitability of our Angus herd." In order for us to produce a quality herd, we believe that good record keeping, an adhered to vaccination schedule and informed sire choices aid us in achieving our goal.
We continually upgrade our stock through acquisition as well as replacement heifers to achieve the best combination of EPDs and carcass values. Using sires such as War Alliance 9126, G A R US Premium Beef, JD Daigger 901, Hyline Righttime 338 and select others have allowed us to offer reliable stock. Our bulls deliver high growth potential with a manageable disposition that will make them an asset to the commercial producers herd. Our replacement heifers will allow the breeding stock producer to go in several different directions with a reliable base to start from.
The WS prefix on an Angus animal means that the owner of that cow or bull has the assurance of quality and temperance. We stand behind our stock and are extremely proud of them.
