A contoured fit, synthetic collar with quick release
The unique improved "Mk2" Empathy breastplate , is a careful blend of ancient and proven harness systems with new lightweight materials that combine strength with low maintenance and maximum comfort,
Reserach into the ideal breastplate shape has been meticuously reserached right back to the days of the charioteers of ancient Greece. Study of load bearing areas and the horse's skeletal and muscular anatomy have all been taken into consideration. The result is a breastplate that combines the load bearing and efficiency of a full breastplate, but with lightness and a more versatile adjustable fitting.
The "MK2" Empathy works with the horses conformation instead of against it, by allowing greater freedom of movement through the shoulder area, enabling the horse to pull a load with minimal restriction to limb movement or pressure on the shoulder joint.

The collar does not have an adaptable line of draft like some other contoured collars, but with my horse that did not seem to cause problems. I hope that one day there will be a draft size in production.
I only gave it a 2 on customization because custom sizes can not be ordered like they can in the Freedom Collar and Super V.
