Saturday AM Fred, Marion, Rob and I started off the weekend with a spectacular drive at Shakertown before the heat of the day kicked in. I also got to try out my new winch which worked perfectly.

On the agenda for the rest of the weekend was to finish the horse trailer dressing room modifications so that I could put all of my stuff that was strewn through out the barn, back in the trailer.
TJ is the brains behind anything we build so while I was waiting for him to get home from work on Saturday, I painted gates and got a tan. Did I mention how hot it was this weekend.
We worked hard late into Saturday night and the updates really started to move along. Last weekend we had insultated and lined the ceiling with the same material we used in the horse area. This weekend we insulated, taped, and lined the nose and 1 wall with white FRP board. TJ also installed 4 110 volt plugs and did some other electrical stuff that I don't understand. We installed some more of the Gladiator track and put in a 20" shelf for my hats and clothes. Stall mats were used on the floor because they are easy to clean and will provide some insulation value. I put the indoor outdoor carpet back in over the mats. We finished everything up around 6:30 last night...did I mention how hot it was this weekend! I had to sit and drink a beer and reenergize before moving all of my stuff back into the trailer.
Marion, Rob and Juniper came back over Sunday AM for another drive. Marion drove the whole time and did GREAT! The pony is such a good girl. The trade off for the driving lessons has been food and Sunday AM's treat was pecan pie from the dinner the night before that we regretfully passed on to work on the trailer. I ate both pieces on Sunday because TJ's not fond of pecans in food for some reason. Marion has also brought us plums and pototoes from the garden. I love this time of the year. The veggies are the best! Dinner last night included home grown cabbage and tomatoes.
