In comparison to last years rain soaked event, this year clear skies and cool temps made it the perfect weekend for a CDE. With over 70 competitors the event schedule had Intermediate dressage and cones on Friday and Preliminary and Training on Saturday. All divisions competed in the Marathon on Sunday.
There were a lot of big smiles from drivers and owners as green horses and new division challenges were overcome successfully.
Despite a very successful weekend for many, there were also some unfortunate incidents. Our hearts go out to the drivers and horses involved and we hope to see them back in the drivers seat again very soon.
