After a tough day on cross country, only 30 riders will continue on to stadium jumping tomorrow. Mary King and her two mounts, Kings Temptress and Fernhill Urco, is sitting in first and second. Previous Rolex winner Clayton Fredericks is in third, American Sinead Halpin is in fourth and 2010 winner William Fox-Pitt moved up from nineteen to fifth.
Leaders Tiana Coudray and Ringwood Magister had an unfortunate fall at the corners, which is an automatic elimination. Other horse and riders that were eliminated appeared to be okay, with Kristi Nunnink being the only rider to be transported to the hospital for an arm injury.
