I always like a challenge so I have signed Odessa and me up for a Limited Distance (25 miles) Endurance ride this coming weekend at Shakertown. Riding a spastic 14-18k Dutch Harness Horse trot mile after mile takes some effort and I am pretty sure they are going to have to scoop me up after I am done. We did a 15 mile ride on Sunday and I thought she did really well and if I keep her following someone we might just have a chance of getting through it. There is going to be a lot of commotion with riders coming and going and a lot going on which is why we are doing this. She doesn't handle commotion well and out on the trails she is scared of EVERYTHING. Hopefully after 25 miles she won't think it's a big deal anymore.
