So my warm trip to Florida was short lived as I returned home to a frozen farm.
We are currently without power, heat and our water is just now returning after 24 hours with just a trickle.
We are lucky to have a few generators and a husband that knows how to hook them into the panel so we have lights and most importantly TV (just kidding). The heat is still a bit of an issue though and I am off to buy a carbon monoxide monitor so our kerosene heater doesn't get the best of us.
So, we will see how long this power outage goes on. Aside from the inconvenience, the snow and ice are beautiful.

... This looks really good. I know you have worked hard. My best to you and your family. I bought a 50 acre farm in Madison County, 2 years ago. Lots of work, it is never done. Good luck. I saw that you did not have any bloggers and thought I would tell you that the farm has come a long way. You can guess who, but you know. Good Job |
