About 20 Spokes and Spurs members met at the Village for a gorgeous day of riding and driving. I believe there were three carriage turnouts and the rest of us were all riding. 
Those of us that frequent Shakertown went out together, which was probably good because we went a bit fast. It seems that Marion and Lisa like to race and Freddie is always up for any challenge so we had several all out runs around the Village. Odessa isn't the most coordinated thing at a canter and I just kept hoping she wouldn't fall down. She seemed to learn how to control her body by the end of the day and actually had some speed at times.
After the ride, we had a great meal of TJ's chili and a variety of other food brought by members. I don't think the day could have been any prettier.
