Forty to eighty highly-trained horses and 200-300 riders from across the nation and other countries are expected to compete.
Top level competitors in the sport of vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) will compete in this championship event.
The best of these competitors will likely go on to win medals in the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG), as the USA vaulters have brought home medals from every WEG.
